Pianists Svetlana Smolina and Christopher O’Riley perform Scriabin: Poem of Ecstasy (arr. Conus), and Rachmaninoff: Symphonic Dances for Two Pianos.

Pianist Svetlana Smolina performed with orchestras and in recitals worldwide. Recent notable solo appearances with orchestras include the Mariinsky Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, New York Philharmonic at Avery Fischer, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Orchestra National de France, New York Chamber, and many other ensembles. A frequent guest at festivals worldwide, Smolina has performed at the Salzburg Festival, Hollywood Bowl Festival in Los Angeles, and the Ravinia Rising Stars Festival in Chicago. 

Acclaimed for his engaging and deeply committed performances, the pianist Christopher O’Riley is known to millions as the former host of NPR’s From the Top. He performs around the world and has garnered widespread praise for his untiring efforts to reach new audiences. Christopher O’Riley has performed as a soloist with virtually all of the major American orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Chicago Symphony, National Symphony, and San Francisco Symphony.
