From the Artistic Director Dear Listeners and Friends:
July 2007 marks our 2nd anniversary as an official program of LACMA. We are in the midst of an exciting summer season,
and hope you will join us often for these free performances and broadcasts.
HELP AT THE CONCERTS
Previous to our official status with LACMA, the artistic and production costs were underwritten by the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs. But those halcyon days of municipal support are behind us now, and we find that, once again, we must turn to our listeners and friends to help keep Sundays Live alive.
Would you be interested in volunteering at the Sunday afternoon concerts? We need people for ushering, handing out information,
and other small tasks. If you can help, even occasionally, please call Anda Bewhite at (310) 729-2371 or contact her by email.
DONATIONS OF BROADCAST AUDIO EQUIPMENT
We need donations of broadcast equipment. We have no equipment replacement budget, and much of our equipment is obsolete or unrepairable.
Since much of our audience listens on the air, it is essential that we maintain the sophisticated, professional broadcast sound which has made us famous.
Specific items needed are new DPA microphones, Panasonic SV 3700a and 3800 Digital Audio tape recorders, and???
VOLUNTEER AUDIO TECHNICIAN
We are also looking for a volunteer audio technician for repair of existing equipment.
