Pianist Daniel Schlosberg performs rondos by Mozart, together with works by d’Anglebert, Rameau, Royer, and Ravel.

Schlosberg has been described as an “expert pianist” (Boston Globe), and his performances have been praised for their “intellect and passion” (Washington Post). Since 2005, he has been on the piano faculty at the University of Notre Dame (Indiana). He has appeared as soloist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in subscription performances of Messiaen’s “Trois Petites Liturgies,” for which he garnered critical praise. He has appeared with new music groups Ensemble dal Niente, eighth blackbird, International Contemporary Ensemble, Third Coast Percussion, Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble, Illinois Modern Ensemble and the CSO’s MusicNOW, and as a duo with pianist Amy Briggs. He can be heard on the Albany, Bridge, Centaur, Nimbus and Permelia record labels. He is also artistic director of the Baltimore Lieder Weekend, held each October.
